Highway 83 to close at 6 p.m. |

The North Dakota Highway Patrol and the N.D. Department of Transportation will close portions of Interstate 94 and U.S. Highway 83 at 6 p.m. because of hazardous travel conditions and impassable roadways.
I-94 , eastbound and westbound, will be closed from Mandan to Dickinson. U.S. Highway 83, northbound and southbound, will be closed from Bismarck to Minot beginning at 6 p.m.
Local traffic will be allowed to travel as far as Washburn as long as conditions allow but no traffic will be allowed north of Washburn due to impassable roads.
