| Dispensationalism | A system of theology that interprets Scripture literally and from the perspective of God's interaction with humanity through successive ages. This view of biblical history maintains one plan of salvation in which God reveals Himself to man and deals with humanity in different ways in each successive period of their relationship of economy (dispensation) of time.
