Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person upset with the barrage of
evolutionary thought that is permeating our society. More and more outlandish
thoughts and ideas are being presented as scientific fact in a world where
people have decided to stop thinking critically, and started to just accept that
science knows what they are doing.
Why is it that as a society we have so quickly forgotten the art of critical
thought? Why are we so afraid to question the outlandish claims of science? When
we take the time to really, and I mean really, look what is said from the
science world, I cannot believe that everyone is simply willing to take
science's word for it. Science is a wonderful tool in helping us to figure out
how God created the universe and what makes it tick. But we must be sure never
to overstep our bounds, and break the rules of scientific analysis in order to
prove a theory that we were told was truth without so much of an honest
examination. Science is being betrayed by the scientists, and only the few (see
Ben Stein's documentary 'Expelled') seem willing to stand for truth.
Here is an example of the lunacy that is being published, all in the name of
science.
John S. Mattick and Michael J. Gagen (U. of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia),
writing in Science magazine (dated February 11th, 2005) about the mathematical
dynamics of networks said the following:
Consider, for instance, the proliferation of digital programming
in such domains as computing and aviation. The increased sophistication
of modern aircraft has been enabled not so much by advances in their analog
components, but rather by transitions from mechanical to computational
control systems, including software and optical fibers, which now
constitute much of the cost. Indeed, the transition to digital technologies
is a generic solution to previous limitations of analog communication and
control technologies. In virtually all systems, it has been observed that explosive
increases in complexity occur as a result of more advanced controls and
embedded networking, most of which is invisible to the observer. In the
case of biology, we suggest that the transition from an analog protein-based
regulatory system to a digital RNA-based control architecture was the critical
platform that enabled the evolution and development of complex organisms.1
(emphasis mine)
Did you catch the sly abandonment of rational thought? In all that wonderful
scientific speak the author took one large step for evolutionkind.
Notice how the writer goes seamlessly from the discussion of
intelligently-designed human engineering to chance-based, mindless,
directionless process of evolution.
Presumably, just because the development of analog-to-digital converters in
cells was 'invisible to the observer', the author takes a huge liberty in
hypothetical reasoning and suggest that an explosion in complexity must have
resulted, transforming bacteria into horses, whales, dragonflies, sharks,
computer programmers and aircraft pilots.
Don't be side tracked with these personification fallacies. (Attributing
personal attributes to inanimate objects or concepts.)
What do I mean by that?
Well read the article excerpt again. And ask yourself these questions.
Who transitioned the aircraft technology from analog to digital? How did this
entity do it? Who designed the Analog to Digital converter that allows the
moving parts to communicate with the digital brain? How was the digital
programming done? Was it with or without a programmer? Who designed the
advance controls? Who embedded the networking? Were advances in modern aviation
brought about by chance mutations and natural selection?
Ok... Now ask the same questions in regard to a bird.
Who assembled the bird? Who provided the moving parts, motor and computer
hardware in the bird? Who programmed the bird? Who Designed the advance
controls, to control what?, Who embedded the neural networking? Who ensured
constant refueling through the process of eating, under one's own power? Who
enabled the concept of waste management, self regulation, and developed the
structural data the bird would need to know in order to survive, or simply
utilize the equipment it was created with? Were advances in animal aviation
brought about by chance mutations and natural selection?
Lots of questions, that science cannot answer. You know, I was once told that you
should never answer a question with more questions. However in this
case...
I think I just did.

"Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge? Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" - Job 38:2-7
