What does Christ Say?
Mark 9
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into
hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt
into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never
shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter
into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell
fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mathew 23:33
Ye serpents, ye generation of
vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
John 1027 My sheep hear my voice, and I know
them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to
pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Christ tells us that he will seperate the bad from the Good... the sheep from
the goats. He tells us that his sheep are those that heard is voice... the good
shepherd and did all that he asked of us.
Here is the passage concerning Christ's judgement of the nations at the Second
coming.
Matthew 25
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he
shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the
goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my
Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me
drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and
ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it
unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me
no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick,
and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred,
or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister
unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did
it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life
eternal.
Please note the words 'eternal life in John 10:28 and Matthew 25:46
We then have the White Throne Judgement before God at the end of the Millenium
where every one who did not accept the Father, nor the Son he sent, will be
judged.
Revelation 20
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his
prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is
as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the
saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven,
and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day
and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face
the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered
up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to
their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the
lake of fire.
You see anyone who does not accept Christ as Savior.. Anyone who does not
acknowledge the sacrifice and believe in Christ.......is destined for death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Revelation 21
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in
the Lamb's book of life.
What we have to understand is that God does not want us to go to hell. God knew that mankind needed a redeemer so that they could be brought back into
fellowship with Him.
1 Timothy 2:5
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
God is holy and cannot allow anyone with sin into heaven. That is why we need
the righteousness of Christ to cover us. This must be done by believing in Jesus
Christ and by accepting Him as your Savior and submitting to Him as the Lord of
your life. Making Jesus your Savior means that you believe that Jesus died so
you could be forgiven.
Romans 10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
Christ died for man to bridge the gap between man and God. So that we can enter
into the eternal life that was our destiny before Adam sinned in the Garden. God
wants reconcilliation with Man... he only wants us to love us back as much as he
loves us. He does not want us to go to hell... no more than I want my own
children to make mistakes in their lives, that may indeed lead to their
death..... however, I still love my children and that love is shown in my
allowing them the use of their free will as they make their lives for
themselves.
God will not force the issue. He has made his offer... it is up to us to sign
the deal.
I have one question for all those who do not believe in Hell.
For me... I certainly do believe in hell... and because of Christ, I know I am
not Going there.
For those who don't believe in hell, you may then think there is nothing to fear
and you are not going to hell, because it doesn't exist.
Well If I'm wrong.... so what.. I can afford to be wrong.
Question is..... Can You?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. -- John 3:16
